Each month, one of our wonderful employees provides us with one of their favorite recipes! For this month’s Dish, Brian has given us his favorite Dine In and Dine Out choices. Check them out below!

THE DIP

Warning: This dip is not found on any diet plan!

Ingredients

  • Equal count containers of cream cheese, Rotel and ground sausage, corn or potato chips for dipping
  • For example: one block cream cheese, one can Rotel, one package ground sausage (all standard grocery store sizes)
Important notes about the ingredients:

*Do not use low-fat cream cheese
*There are many varieties of Rotel to choose from.  Match to your spice level but also suggest not using a version that has lime included.
*Regular or spicy sausage works great. Low-fat sausage is ok too.

Directions

  1. Cook the sausage in a skillet and break apart with a spatula to a crumbled consistency.  Drain all excess oil.
  2. In a medium pot, add cream cheese and fully drained Rotel.  Squeezing out the excess water from the Rotel is best.
  3. Once the sausage is fully cooked and the cream cheese is melted, combine all the ingredients in the pot and stir occasionally on low heat for 5 minutes.

*Note: You will find that once you start eating you can’t stop. Enjoy!
